Perhaps, but even so, I'd like to see him explain whether or not he thinks the Tanooki Suit is silly. Or the Frog Suit. Powerups that've been with the series since Super Mario Bros. 3.

If he says the Tanooki Suit isn't silly but the Cat Suit is, then I'd agree with your assessment that he should stay out of the topic.

Falcon Punch is the result of the Sun heating fists. It drives the Blue Falcon. Heating causes destruction of water into the pain, where it then hurts, creating rain. Rain creates flowing water in tears, which can then be converted into other forms through more pain.

Mario universe is supposed to be silly, wacky, creative. It doesn't have to stick with real life as well.

If there is Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad in a Wii U game, can there be snifits, shyguys, turnips, and POW blocks?

There is pow blocks in this game, but I don't think that snifits, shyguys and turnips would be in this game.

This looks so much better than 3D Land. I really do wish they would have ditched the darn timer, though. Oh well. It still looks pretty awesome. And I suppose the multiplayer wouldn't work as easily if the game wasn't so linear.
EDIT: Wait, this game has online? Sweet! I just hope it isn't super laggy, though (but I guess that depends on your connection).

The Internet use is just with Mii ghosts.

Oh yeah. And here's some kinda English version of the above trailer, it seems. EDIT: And then I noticed it was posted up above.

Well, if you think about it, online play would be a bit disorienting on a platformer, especially a 3D one. In 3D Platformers, you constantly need perfect precision. if you were to play this online, some of that precision would be gone, leading to unnecessarily frustrating deaths.

Yeah I'm thinking Rosalina will be playable. It's unexpected and it's a somewhat simple way to show people that they are willing to change things up.

Calling it now, her ability will be a SMG styled spin ability to appeal to the SMG fans.

I wonder who that fourth picture represents, though. it can't be Rosalina since the 1st one covers that. It's also not the Toad Brigade captain since the icon he uses doesn't match up.

hoping for Wario.

1 and 2 look like the Sprixie Princess, and 3 Has Lumas surrounding it, so that's Rosalina... 4, honestly, likes like an Octoomba or a similar snouted creature.
