Thanks! It was more like 25 little changes. Big Grin

More changes to come, hopefully. I really want to get the header icons to work in mobile. Especially for the "View New Posts" and "View Today's Posts". I did some test runs of some edits in my browser, and it's pretty involved, so it'll probably take a good hour or two to sit down and hammer that out.

Sadly, the code in the header isn't very well constructed, so it's more of a challenge than it ought to be. But hey, that just adds to the challenge. Smile

A lot of that code in the header could be mine, I did a lot of bodging.

I'll repeast the request of making the stripes css instead of images to improve load times

I'm not clear what you mean by this. Could you clarify? Thanks!

I made a bunch more updates to the header of the mobile-view. Hopefully that should re-introduce some of the links that were missing.

Might still try to add some of the blue buttons back. But that'll be another round of edits.

You can use css gradients to do the same thing that https://forums.mfgg.net/imagesmfgg/topbarbg.png and https://forums.mfgg.net/images/headerbg2.png do but with less loading

You are certainly correct that certain images can be replaced with CSS and that doing so can improve site loading times, but honestly, the gain would be pretty negligible in this instance.

The files we would be replacing are scarcely bigger than your average animated gif smiley, so it probably isn't worth the effort. MFGG's forums really aren't trafficked to the level that would require very precise optimization in the manner you've suggested.

I say it mostly for myself since I'm on mobile connection and theyre the last thing to load that isnt user content

RE: Mobile theme improvement suggestion - Money - 12-16-2017

Now that people have their badges back: WOW badges look like garbage on mobile

RE: Mobile theme improvement suggestion - VinnyVideo - 12-16-2017

@MoneyMan Yeah, there's a few more things that need tweaking with the badges. The badge system isn't done yet.

RE: Mobile theme improvement suggestion - Money - 02-18-2018

Polls look really bad on mobile

I thought I mentioned this before but I guess not:

The only way I can login/logout on mobile is physically typing in the login URL.
