I've had to go through this before... it's not fun. What helped was to remember that there are always people out there who will accept you, even if you haven't met them yet.
One of my biggest fears is getting married and settling down with someone I love only to find out they don't love me back. I'm also scared of heights and wasps.

So did I. I've actually lost friends who used to be very close friends for years and we have since never patched things up. Kinda why my trust levels are extremely low.
