I was able to use a remake of Super Mario Bros in Construct 2 by Jcw87/Johncw87 and use to make my fan-game (i gave credit btw) and also i'm now using it to make a Super Mario Fan-game that is 2D with 3D elements, like adding the Wall Jump or Long Jump etc.
(P.S: was this too much?)

im a little good when it comes down to non-mario games because i taught myself because TUTORIALS ARE FOR THE WEAK!

Despite being a year away from graduating college with a minor in Computer Sciences, I have yet to really put my knowledge to any practical use, mostly out of being too intimidated. The best only thing I ever developed was a short 2-level game in Construct 2 for a My First Game Jam a couple of years ago
