I hope you're all downloading these games as I say them, because they all deserve it.
I think we all can agree, sometimes the trailer is as good as the movie itself, and this demo proves that even they can be just as good as a full game. If you haven't guessed it yet, we're doing Best Demo!
The arcade! What a fun memory of my youth. Spending all my parent's money on Wrecking Crew, I never did get the high score, some donkey guy had it. Nowadays we've replaced the arcade with fun little timewasters, still trying for that high score. What does that have to do with MFGG? Well it means the Best Minigame of 2017 of course, held by:
Short and sweet, both demos and minigames.

The shyguys pleaded for me to have this be a 3 award round, and I don't blame them. All three awards are crucial parts of the game making process and all deserve equal recognition.
You all remember Sonic Mania, man that game was fun but more importantly it looked amazing the graphics crew for that did an amazing job. I do think that this fangame deserves almost equal praise for its looks cause we're hitting you with Best Graphics!
Hmmm, whats this? It would appear Super Mario Flashback also won Best Engine! Wow!
But what about the ups and downs, the pits and treasures? How your levels are laid out are pretty important and thats why we got Best Level Design!
What a great round, amazing work by the creators here.

Oh yeah, I am feeling this years MFGG Awards. Such great talent.
Man it seems like this person is really talented, all those individual awards and they're just stealing the game awards, almost criminal. What am I talking about? The winner of Most Polished!
You ever been shopping and decide "I'm gonna buy that soda, it might be great!" So you go home and have it and wow it really is? Well this game is like that soda, it really is the Most Overlooked.
I really hope you guys play Super Cakeboy, the shyguys sure had a fun time with it and I'm sure you will too!

These games are back and ready to hit us again. They deserve it man, they really do.
Originality is hard, you can never tell if your concept has been done before. The winner of Most Original Gameplay really hit the mark though. Whistle and shout for:

The Split, it's been almost 8 whole years since the split happened but boy I am glad that after almost 8 years we've finally come together...

So many people winning multiple awards left and right. The shyguys don't even know if they can mint enough badges for these people! But I believe, and that's all that matters.
It's hard to tell a story, it's especially hard when you gotta also make a game around it. But the winner of Best Story almost makes it look easy, put your hands together for(or just 1-up the post):

Charisma sure is popular.
Dragon Coins! They certainly weren't hidden well in Super Mario World. HOWEVER, the winner of Best Secrets sure knows how to hide things.
Do I bother, its charisma again and it won Best Setting. Man you guys like charisma.
