Bowser is kidnapping Peach and overthrowing the Mushroom Kingdom to install his own puppet government and annex it. He is Napoleon if he was a reptilian Koopa.

The Teletubbies are his servants who he purchased one day from Her Majesty to entertain people and brainwash them to support the annexation and to hail King Koopa. Peach is only one part of the plan, and she was the first to be mind-controlled.

Peach is exiled and forced to watch Teletubbies everyday. Mario is a communist wanting to incite a worker's revolution and bring a socialist constitutional monarchy to the Mushroom Kingdom. He only has the monarchy to keep order and because she is popular.

All viewers of Teletubbies have been brainwashed into supporting Bowser's agenda (even babies, the target audience, and their parents).
