i'm pretty sure it was super mario world. we got a super nes in 1995 when my sister turned six, so i remember renting that game and falling in love with it. my grandparents ended up buying it for me, and before my grandpa george passed on, i remember telling him how much i appreciated that from him.
... er, not that anyone asked for my life's story, here.

I don't really have a clue. I think it was Super Mario Bros. Deluxe. I believe I saw either 64 or Galaxy beforehand, maybe Sunshine too.

Oof. That was a really long time ago. Probably when I was five or so. I'd have to say it was either SMB 2 or SMB 3, both on the NES.
