RE: Introductions - BillieVee - 03-22-2026

Hey everyone! I'm BillieVee, but in the old days (2003 to 2008ish?) I went by Yoshimaster or Kramer the Bird. I'm so glad to see this place is still around! I even recognize a few folks Other Big Brin. I don't really make games anymore-- I do a lot of writing instead. But I still love Mario and I'm excited to see what y'all have been working on.

Welcome!

@BillieVee Welcome back - it's always cool to see an old-school MFGGer return!

Were you the creator of Super Mario Sketch? I always thought that was a really interesting and creative fangame concept.

What kind of writing do you like to do?

Yep, that was me! I always wanted to make a sequel with a bit more polish, but never got around to it.

I write a lot of horror and sci-fi short stories.  Big Grin

@BillieVee Nice! A more polished Super Mario Sketch would be fun to see. The original game was a bit janky but had a lot of soul.

Jumbo Mario, which became an unusually popular fangame in recent months, reminded me a bit of Super Mario Sketch.
