Todd comes to his senses. "Wow, that was a close call." He realizes he's probably lucky to be alive after that little incident. He looks over his shoulder, and in the distance he sees a person and a strange but benevolent-looking creature. He's not sure if they'll make things better, but they probably can't make things worse.
Of course, Todd is also concerned by the red bodily fluids flowing from his wound. Todd is no nurse, but he searches his pockets to see if he can find something to stop the bleeding.
