Thankfully it didn't, though that's probably because I have feathers.

RE: Did MFGG make you furry? - Retriever II - 08-06-2019

pushes nerd glasses back into position

Actually, it's called "avian". The term for lizards and other reptiles, by the way, is "scalie".

...i've yet to find out ones for aquatic animals, such as fish. helpful information is needed.

Aqua is sometimes used, but I don't think anyone agrees on what to call them.

I mean Aqua is too vague isn't it? You got amphibians, sea mammals, fish, crustaceans

RE: Did MFGG make you furry? - Retriever II - 08-06-2019

I mean what would you call any of those things.

What do you call someone based on Cthulhu?

But the capacity for logic eludes most people when I work on projects so many of them immediately believe the fallacy that because you have one or two characters who are anthropomorphic that automatically you want to f*** animals.

And then you employ a fallacy and imply all furries want to f*** animals.

Just ftr, a lot of people just like drawing humanoid animals, just like you. There's all kinds of different people in it for different reasons.

If I am misunderstanding your point, I do apologize.

I'm pretty sure he's doing the opposite and saying some people imply that about him because he draws anthropomorphic animals...

RE: Did MFGG make you furry? - Evil Yoshi Toes - 09-16-2019

Yeah, I believe he was speaking against the automatic conclusion people come to when they see that someone likes furry/anthro art.

Without getting into too much graphic detail about it so as to stay MFGG friendly, the stigma furry artists - and furries in general - have attached to them is unfortunate. While I'm not into furry art myself, I know I'd hate it if people made such absurd assumptions about me based solely on a harmless hobby I have. Unfortunately, similar stigmas exist for many hobbies and interests, like people automatically assuming anyone who likes anime is a fetishists of Japanese culture. I believe a lot of it has to do with the representation that these groups get online, especially with the "cringe comp" trend that shows off the worst of these communities. While I don't think these types of videos are that bad by themselves, it's a shame that people use them as a basis for their generalization of a diverse group of people.
