Cooking Competition for Fun - Pedigree - 06-04-2018

What are some ideas of how we could go about this? Not everyone would have access to the materials to make every dish that is submitted so should we judge it on presentation and theme or should we have judges that can make every dish? What say you?

This is a brainstorm topic for ideas on how to do a Cooking Competition. Let'sa go!

we should have judges that can make every sick dish

I think have judges that are capable of cooking every dish and allow people to submit a full recipe. This should include measurements and as standardized portioning as possible.

Maybe doing a recipe theme would be nice, like a certain cuisine or using a certain ingredient as the primary center of the course.

Could be fun. If we vote on a winner, it would be easiest to vote on concept and presentation, since it's impractical to expect every voter to make every dish that's entered.

Alternatively, you could appoint a judge or two (ideally someone with a well-stocked kitchen and some culinary skill) to make all the recipes and choose a winner.

I have some culinary skill, I know how to make Tacos, how to make Pizza, and how to make soup.

The judges should vote on a winner
