It's now offical.
They're targeting Video Streaming sites (such as Netflix) first, they'll also pay extra fees on certain sites so, watch out.

Whelp. While i'm in EU, waiting in agony for Article 13 to be stopped, i'm watching in sorrow this country to desperately find a solution to stop it.

Since Net Neutrality has been repealed, individual states are putting in their own rules. Now they're going to have to fight through that.

The consequences wouldn't be very immediate, but it is still coming about. AT&T recently finished merging with Time Warner. Comcast is charging for Netflix. Things will gradually get worse.

off the top of my head the timeline was like:
FCC voted to repeal it, and it got delayed for some reason
Senate or House voted on a new bill to keep it, but the other one just ignored the bill and never put it up to vote
so here we are
