Probably a newspaper comic when I was very little - good ol' Peanuts is probably the earliest one I remember.
Or else one the Mario/Zelda comics that used to appear in Nintendo Power. I still need to find a way to read all of those - I'm still wanting to know what happens after Mario and Nurse Luigi give the Boos a therapy session.
