Roasted seaweed (nori). Surprisingly tasty, even when eaten by itself.
Also, beet chips.
(Note that these foods might not be weird to everyone, so for my purposes "weird" means "stuff you haven't had before".)

I posted it in the other thread, tempura featuring pineapple and banana. I didn't regret trying something new, would buy again
