What's a test background? - Honey Saucer Gengar - 07-03-2018

Why do Kritter and Hypernova have It and the others don't.

What are you talking about???

RE: What's a test background? - Q-Nova - 07-03-2018

@Pedigree I think he's referring to the latest purchases section that can be seen here. Anyway, to answer the question, I think those two are playing around with a possible shop feature, as people on MFGG try to figure out ways to make the coins have more use (since right now, coins can only be used to donate to others, which doesn't really have any impact if nothing else can be done with those).

I think he's actually talking about the "testing area" for the website of the software. Though, it is none of my business to say anything that doesn't involve me to examine.

-Redacted to the point of false accusation-

But still @gengarmaster, why do you care about this?

RE: What's a test background? - Pedigree - 07-03-2018

Oh

Yes, they're testing shop features and only have access to said things because said things aren't ready for public consumption.

RE: What's a test background? - Kritter - 07-03-2018

Exactly what was said above, but don't expect any of those features to see the light of day unless someone wants to fork over some $$$ for it because plugins for the "shop system" have to be custom made. Minus World has a lot of features this forum could use but I don't have the time to strike up that dialogue with people like @Spritanium seeing as I don't use Discord and those things, nor would I expect/want him to work for free given that it's his job to do that kind of work and I respect that field. I love this place but I don't have the cash to throw new features at it willy nilly.

If you donate coins to someone, do you lose your coins? I've not once donated any coins (and I feel really bad for that)... but then again i have no idea as to how they work lol

RE: What's a test background? - Pedigree - 07-06-2018

Yes, if you donate coins to someone you are forfeiting that amount of coins from your inventory.
