Should probably not be present or be a much more subdued color when they are 0.

I'm sure it's possible with JavaScript or something but it's a bit beyond me to work out at the moment.

Instead of a subdued color is it possible to hide it completely if at 0?

Again, probably possible, right now it's not something I can do. I'll have to ask around.
I've found some JavaScript solutions but my time is limited, I'll have to have a play around when I get some time.

I MAY have gotten them to hide when there's no PM's or Alerts, but let me know if it's buggy.

Looks like they are hidden except for when the page is first being loaded. It flashes the normal "0" in a red box and then disappears.
Must say though, when it's not visible it looks much nicer.

There's probably a solution for that, mine is pretty inelegant, but right now it does the job.
