The staff has typically been on your side; we've banned at least one person recently for bringing it up.
I'm really disappointed that people had as much issue with it as they did. It was shaky whether or not it was allowed, but it's not like you're a criminal, you were making relevant posts about game development that was on the borderline of having certain kinds of somewhat NSFW but otherwise fine content.
I'm sorry about the harassment.

As you know I was someone who was very against it being on this site and I still stand by that, but I am also completely against people bullying you about it. I'm sorry people are harassing you and I hope it ceases.

Sorry to hear about that. I have mixed feelings about certain aspects of the game, but harassing people about it is very not OK. If you're getting any unkind comments, be sure to press the report button or PM a staff member.
