Is this forum a thing? - Mariotroid - 08-11-2018 Just wondering. Seems like it's not a thing anymore. RE: Is this forum a thing? - Great Destination Tracks 3 - 08-11-2018 Do you mean the Fourms are a little inactive right now? RE: Is this forum a thing? - Yakibomb - 08-11-2018 I speculate a lot of people seemed to have migrated over to the Discord server... but I'm not sure if that's entirely true. RE: Is this forum a thing? - VinnyVideo - 08-11-2018 Nah, MFGG is just a figment of our imaginations. RE: Is this forum a thing? - DustinVG - 08-11-2018 Thingliness is not a binary scale RE: Is this forum a thing? - СМБХфан - 08-11-2018 (08-11-2018, 12:57 PM)VinnyVideo Wrote: Nah, MFGG is just a figment of our imaginations. So is Mario. And your computer. RE: Is this forum a thing? - Fun With Despair - 08-11-2018 Might exist. Might not. Who am I, to question the nature of such things? RE: Is this forum a thing? - Vitiman - 08-13-2018 Yes, Sonic Retro is still a thing, not sure why you'd ask that though. RE: Is this forum a thing? - СМБХфан - 08-13-2018 Before we answer the question of whether or not this forum is a thing, we have to define the word "thing." What is a thing? If a thing shall be defined as "an inanimate material object as distinct from a living sentient being," then is this forum material or inanimate? After all, the forum does change because it is a proxy for conversation. But the definition is quite colourful and other questions and broadened definitions pop up as a result. What is a "being"? How is something "living"? Are we "things"? Sometimes a thing does not have to be a non-living object. Some words can't be defined, simple ones such as "door," "sleep," "time," "earth," etc. Which these words are basic parts of a person's vocabulary for most cultures that exist within the world. But specifying "things" as categories is a meaningless task in the long run, because everything known to man, is definitely a thing without a doubt. For even a single man is compromised of several things. In conclusion, the debate on whether or not the forum is a thing is meaningless. No doubt this forum is a thing. Even dead forums are still things too. P.S. Sorry for being too intellectual in the Cosmic Trash Nebula. |
