I can't submit something to the main site because it thinks a PNG is a BMP - littlelum - 11-05-2018 Basically what the title says, my thumbnail is PNG but the sever says it's a BMP (Thereby causing it to reject the submission) Any ideas? RE: I can't submit something to the main site because it thinks a PNG is a BMP - OssieTheOstrich - 11-05-2018 Have you tried using a gif file version of the thumbnail? RE: I can't submit something to the main site because it thinks a PNG is a BMP - Hyper - 11-05-2018 Are you using MSPaint by any chance? The earlier version of MS Paint will save PNG files in BMP format. I would recommend save it as BMP and then convert it to PNG using a 3rd party software like GIMP. No, I used a program to rip it from a game. It said it exported it as a PNG, and my computer says it's a PNG, but the mainsite says it's a BMP. (The part that confuses me is that my computer says it's a PNG) RE: I can't submit something to the main site because it thinks a PNG is a BMP - HylianDev - 11-05-2018 (11-05-2018, 06:36 PM)littlelum Wrote:(11-05-2018, 01:37 AM)Hypernova Wrote: Are you using MSPaint by any chance? There's a good chance that the exporter program saved it as a BMP. Try opening it in Paint and re-saving it as a PNG, that ought to fix it |
