Why do y'all care so much about clashing graphics, when Nintendo does that themselves?

Yes, especially Mario party 8. The characters look like they are in gmod.

To be honest, I don't think it's clashing that much. It all comes down to choice of style.

These are genere clashes more than aesthetic clashes.

I don't care about clashing as long as it looks intentional. Mario Odyssey's is obviously very intentional, and I don't really see the clashing graphics in the SPM screenshot.
Mario Party 8 is pretty ugly though.

Maybe that screenshot isnt a very good example but all of the mario characters dont look right with everything in spm. If you play the game, you would know what I am talking about.

That's true but I guess it gets away with it to me because the game is set in that alternate world where everything is made of simple polygons. When I look at the characters who originate in that dimension they all fit in well, just Mario, Peach, Bowser and Luigi look out of place as they are meant to. In the game's intro when they're still in their own world they fit well to me.
I guess whether or not choosing having the main quartet clash was a good decision is a different matter, but it was at least deliberate.
