i like that it made battle royale type games popular. i like fortnite, but i also really like other developers' takes on the formula, like the blackout mode of black ops 4

couldn't care about it as much as I don't care about pubg. It only got popular because of the studio who published pubg were maliciously litigious to the people behind fortnite.

I feel like I missed out hard with this game. I never played it and feel like I'm a waste cause I never got my hands on it. I have it for Switch but I never got around to playing it... perhaps I should?

I have several cousins who play. Fortnite will definitely ruin your life.
Actually, I have played Fortnite but I don't play a lot and I'm not really that good.

I like the art style as it's kind of unexpected for a shooter game. I'm not into competitive FPS games though so I can't see myself enjoying it.

It's all right on own its own, but is 100x more fun in squads mode with friends.
I dont just go "time to play some fortnite" and play it on my own, but if my friends text me or DM me on like discord asking me if want to play I'll usually answer back and jump into afew squads rounds with them
