Give me level ideas for a silly game - Roo - 02-02-2019

I'm making a tangentially-Mario-related fangame, and while it's not going to be a "joke game", it's going to be relatively silly. So yeah, give me gimmick ideas and/or dumb level themes.

Oh cool, Roo's making goofy games again! I often enjoyed those.

Here come ideas. These ideas may or may not be good ideas.
  • Fast food
  • The Mushroom Kingdom landfill
  • A level that takes place inside a giant stapler
  • Extreme sports

A garbage level sounds like a good idea (haha jk they'll all be garbage).

Also, if it helps come up with any more ideas, the game specifically takes place in Hell.

I'd do a Releasio level if Ultra HE THICC Realms didn't already do one. The 1-1 recreation could work as a bonus area or something.

I don't think I'm good enough to do a level like that efficiently.

Here are some ideas that come to my mind:
 
  •  A city made out of game cartridges.
  • A level that's nothing but fire. Literally.
  • A level where you face against bacteria and other microscopic organisms.
  • A level that takes place in Super Mario 128.
  • A sewer that is the home of video game characters and elements that have been long forgotten. These characters could be training to become ninjas! Cool
  • A level where you're inside an overheating video game console.
  • A level that's like a usual one, but you're doing it backwards and undoing all progress that's been done (for example, you'd have to revive stomped enemies, put items back into ? blocks, and put bricks back together).
  • A crazy bus driven by a crazy driver that's playing Crazy Bus music.
  • A level where you run across CDs as if they were planets.

Petition for Q-Nova to make a joke game someday! These are awesome ideas.

@VinnyVideo Haha! Well, I probably wouldn't mind making a game that has bizarre stories and concepts. In fact, I'd say my recent works have some traces of weirdness in them.

I have a few ideas myself:
  • A level referencing New Super MFGG Bros. (The fangame, this has nothing to do with the skin.)
  • Something related to MFGG comics, like Yoshin's "MFGG Comix" or a small comic i once made.
  • The train level from Bubsy 1.
  • A level referencing a few MFGG fangames, old, new, and upcoming.
  • Something Mario Kart related.
  • Something Mario related that's old and obscure.
