[Concept] Creating and customising your own Skins using Templates. - OddieTheRock - 03-11-2019

Let's say you wanted to make your own skin that can only be used by you, like say Kirb makes a Undertale theme, only he is able to use it.

Then you can use the "Skin Templates", which are extremely simple skins which you can customise to your liking.

I don't know if MyBB or even LumaSMS can do this, which why I'm labelling this as a concept.

I know people sometimes did this during the IPB era.

So, can this be implemented here?

this is sort of a non-feature. it doesn't actually affect the website in a meaningful way. you could just have a chrome plugin that does this, or write your own script for it to change some of the site's styles on page load.

not to mention, that's a potential security hole. I'm not certain you could do anything there that you can't already do by running scripts in your own browser, but letting users upload and execute their own code is scary.

so in conclusion, this feature will probably not happen. at least, I don't endorse it.
