Redraws and Remakes - SonicKade2048 - 03-14-2019
Many people have their own style or way of doing things in life. I'm no different, being a major cartoon lover and even being able to make my own comics (somewhat poorly, I'll admit). However, I'm going to embrace that and bring up this thread for one reason:
I want to see how we design what we see around us.
For example, here's my own representation of Kade Berry, my Shy Guy character:

Simple, yet intriguing. This is the more "modern" design, as his basic/main one is just a taller, dark green Shy Guy, but that's besides the point, though here's a (somewhat freaky) design of how he looks as such. (WARNING: Large image)
Through time, I gave Kade a backstory and introduced him to magic, at the start of 2019 allowing him to become more of a dragon than just a plain Shy Guy. I wanted to experiment more with how I could change him up, so here's another design I created.

What am I willing to gain out of this thread if you haven't figured it out yet, you may ask? All I ask is to share your redraws/redesigns of others' refs, original/fan characters, etc. It doesn't need to be recent, I just want to know how you all express your art styles with the world.
For example, here's something Gato made based on Kade's normal design (LARGE IMAGE AGAIN)
I hope you understand what I mean by this, still. Rephrasing again, all I'd like to know is what you guys see/do with your own art style. How you draw your view of the world, how you draw others' characters, etc. I'm not limiting it to just peoples' refs and whatnot, you can share other pieces of art here (though I do want to note that the topic of Sprites/Art WIP/Showcase exists). I just want to know what your art styles are/look like.
