Ok, since I got permission to make the next sprite competition theme.

The theme for this competition will be:

Many years have passed!

The sprites must be based on a nearby distant future. If you don't know what I mean. Check the video above!

You have until June 9th, 2019 to present your entries. (3 Weeks)

Extensions will be made if required.

Can you please give more information than just "Many years have passed" and "Just think of Bowser Jr. a bit grown up."? That sounds a bit lazy in my opinion.

Also, the title has "Competition" with a lowercase C.

Does anyone even know that this competition exists? Nobody did any entries, and the competition didn't get promoted at social media at all. If people are still interested, then I think we should do an extension. Here's some good inspiration if anyone's trying to get ideas for sprites: http://brawlinthefamily.keenspot.com/comic/mkc1/

On top of lack of exposure, the contest is being outshined by MTA3 at the moment, which ends with June. Because of that, its probably a good idea to wait until that's over to see if people are still interested in participating. So unless we get some entries beforehand, I say we keep it open until a week or two after MTA3 ends.

Gotta follow both of ya and I'm going to postpone this for July 15th - July 31st.

Anyone agreed with this?

I think it's better to cancel this competition and hold a new, better planned one at a later date.

Honestly, this competition getting no attention and MTA3 doing really well tells me that the way we hold competitions really need to change. I think I'll soon open a thread to discuss how we should handle competitions from this point onwards.
