Not really the biggest Mega Man fan, but it does look pretty nice. RE: Mega man 11 | yes really - PAC-BANZAI - 12-04-2017 The best part? NOT. 8. BIT. RE: Mega man 11 | yes really - Action Lemon - 12-04-2017 Lets just hope it doesn't have bad level design. RE: Mega man 11 | yes really - PAC-BANZAI - 12-04-2017 Trailer! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UozPrGsaSE8 RE: Mega man 11 | yes really - Saltman - 12-04-2017 If I'm being honest I preferred Mega Man's original pitchy voice to his new one in this game. RE: Mega man 11 | yes really - DustinVG - 12-04-2017 As I've said a few places, walk cycle seems kinda janky (even for Mega Man) but the rest seems legit! RE: Mega man 11 | yes really - Kritter - 12-04-2017 It's coming "Late 2018" but it already looks more playable and fun than Mighty No. 9. Janky animations and so on can be dealt with over the next year. I'm just glad it wasn't another 8-bit game. When the trailer opened my heart sank seeing 8-bit Megaman there at the beginning. RE: Mega man 11 | yes really - Saltman - 12-04-2017 Wonder if Inafune is involved the production of this game though. Didn't he leave Capcom or something? Why wouldn't you want the creator himself to join the fun? But we all know Mega Man is what he does best, right? He made MM9 and 10 after all. If he was the guy making this game it wouldn't be the same mistake again because he already knows how to do Mega Man himself. Well I believe that MM9 & 10 were only good, because of the help of Inti Creates and not Inafune himself. He became a producer first at MM8 and being a producer doesn't mean he did all the work on the game. He just gave his "okay" or "nope" and kept or dropped the ideas he liked or didn't like. As a producer you mainly decide what should be in a game and what not and interact with people in public. Besides that he works also as an Illustrator (he created Zeros design), but that has nothing to do with leveldesign or mechanics. Inti Creates in the other hand is well known for their great developed games and fan service (Gunvolt 1/2, Mighty Gunvolt + MG Burst, Zero Games, Blaster Master Zero, etc.). They nailed the department of actionplatforming games pretty well. So far, it's unknown who works on MM11 besides Capcom, which can be a bad sign... About the game, it looks like PoweredUP kind of minus the chibiness of that game. Looks refreshing to see a non 8-bit classic Megaman game (even tho I didn't hate the 8-bit ones so I wouldn't mind that either). |
