Personally, I like it alot. The cartoon sections aren't the best, but the live action scenes are actually funny and I enjoy those alot.

As a show from DIC, it's kinda weak compared to Inspector Gadget and Super Mario Bros 3, But as a show, it's really good and used to be a funny meme SMBSS is a nicely done show 7/10

I like it, both the live action and animated segments. I don't think it's a particularly great show - the storylines are often weak and the animation is clearly very low budget - but I like the cheesy 80s/90s cartoon vibe it gives off. I think my favorite thing about it though is the introduction of new, weird characters. I wish Nintendo would tap into those weird characters in their mainline games. They have a lot of really fun character concepts in the show that could work really well in a Mario rpg. And if Nintendo won't do that, fan game creators should!

It's not the pinnacle of quality, but I enjoyed watching it when I was a little person. And it still has a unique corny charm to it.

Captain Lou is such a great Mario. I don't really know anything about the animated segments but it looks like they had fun with them so I guess that's what counts.
