Dr. Bowsette is in - Kazufox - 11-05-2019
I'm back technically I never left with a new Bowsette romhack! This time it's of the Dr. Mario (NES) title, and so far a lot of progress has been made.

I'll make 2 versions, 1 for blonde and the other redhead. Will note now that I plan on changing things in the cutscenes as well as the viruses to be super crowned versions.

Much more progress has been made. And there's going to be 2 variants of Dr. Bowsette.

But I have been considering doing a Dr. Boosette version is anyone's interested. Just make the sprites based on Dr. Luigi game.

Fun news, guess I'm working on a Dr. Boosette version...
But here comes the main issue. Trying to get the colors to work with these viruses. I'll be color correcting the original viruses for the Bowsette version, but with the Boosette one, it's a bit...tricky.
Here's what the viruses look like originally

So able to just the blue and pink ones better coded. The yellow will have to be closer towards the light yellowish to work for the eyes of the other 2.

So regarding the colors, I came to a compromise keeping the magenta one closer to its color while the cyan is the darker color just to make it easier to differentiate. I think this works out enough, still a different palette from the other 3.

With the Bowsette versions, I added horns on the "o" just to make it stand out a bit more, like how the second "o" in Boosette is of a Boo.
Like I said, all the cutscenes have been changed with...various objects. It'll be kept the same for all versions to make it simpler.
So in about another week or 2, this should be ready to be posted.
Should I consider a version of Dr. Boosette with the original viruses or just keep to the Dr. Luigi variants to make it more unique?

It's up now everyone! Ok, it's been up for a few days, delayed posting because hasn't been approved on MFGG yet. Now on MFGG!
Dr. Bowsette/Dr. Boosette! Because if it's one thing Dr. Mario World has taught us, is that ANYONE can be a doctor. Just put on a lab coat and start tossing some pills (please don't actually do this).

Line up the colors in a vertical or horizontal combination of 4 or more in order to cure the viruses. Beat the game on High at level 20 in order to discover the mastermind behind this infectious invasion!
Has blonde or redhead Bowsette versions and a Boosette version with Dr. Luigi viruses. All cutscene sprites have been changed.
