I have officially become Christian - strabiri - 02-29-2020
I believe in God, but cannot wane myself from sin. And this thought disdains me day and night. I'm reading the bible, I believe, I pray every now and then, but the sin continues to prevail. I wish to overcome this treachery as a man of God but I just can't. Any tips?

Now just you hang on. I know the Bible says to love thy neighbor but it is quite hard when heathens dismiss my newfound faith in Christ as a joke.

God loves you and accepts you for what you are. However, the journey to becoming a better person is fundamental in moving on from your sins.
Mind you I'm not religious and I haven't been to church in twenty years now so I'm a bit rusty.
