A lot really, but also not much at the same time, if that makes sense.
I think the biggest change is that most of the activity moved to our Discord server, so the forums are a lot quieter these days.
Other than that things aren't that much more different than before I suppose. We are still making fangames, still making sprites, and still holding events... Still going strong!

I always enjoyed the freedom of the PPP. It's a good counter-measure to the authoritarian instincts of the human spirit.

Wow. Last time I was here (as Banjzooie), the PPP was dead and replaced by the Casual Conversation Castle, which was supposed to be a “cleaner” version of the PPP but it really was indistinguishable from general chat. CCC was in place for years too, wasn’t it? What prompted the return of the PPP?
PS—mods, if my old Banjzooie account is still here (though I don’t think it is since the forums have been redone a few times since then), feel free to remove it. I don’t remember the password anyway. I might also have an account called “RedZone908” or something from like 8 years ago... feel free to remove that too.

Yeah, every once in a while we'd do a temporary revival of the PPP or a PPP-like forum. We ended up bringing it back permanently because it gave people an outlet for spammy silliness, and it wasn't hurting anything to have it around. (Many of the old arguments in favor of removing the PPP weren't as relevant anymore.)
