Sprite Competition #1 - 2024: Wonders of RPGs - WasabiCatto - 12-31-2023 2023 brought us two wonderful Mario games, Super Mario Bros. Wonder and the remake of Super Mario RPG. And as the theme for the first competition of 2024 we chose: Wonders of RPGs RULES: Create a sprite related to Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Super Mario RPG or a mix of both games No recolours allowed You can recreate a screenshot if you wish Competition begins at 3:00 AM EST and ends on Monday, January 15, 2024 at the same hour. SMRPG styled castle bowser fight scene inspired by the trailer. I made everything based on the original game's palettes, and I used the original mario and peach sprites as a reference for them (including her parasol). Castle bowser was challenging to make, but I think he turned out well.
