Congrats to everyone, especially Langton. Very well-deserved.

RE: MFGG AWARDS 2023 RESULTS - VinnyVideo - 01-19-2024

Wario Destroys a Glass of Milk... more like Langton Destroys the MFGG Awards balloting! This was well-deserved indeed - that game is awesome.

Congratulations to the other winners as well, and thanks for voting!

Badges have been handed out. Im'ma mention that 4 of the winners do not have an account on the forum and the badge will be given as they register.

RE: MFGG AWARDS 2023 RESULTS - Langton - 01-19-2024

Thank you to those who voted for giving this much appreciation for Wario DESTROYS A Glass of Milk! I must admit, at some points in its development, I had myself questioning if it was really worth making the game... now I guess this shows that it was in fact worth it. And it's not often that a game with a name like that wins Best Overall Game... what a world we live in.

RE: MFGG AWARDS 2023 RESULTS - KrystalPhantasm - 01-20-2024

RE: MFGG AWARDS 2023 RESULTS - Q-Nova - 01-21-2024

WHAT THE!? I won an award? After six (or four) years of not winning an MFGG award!? Haha, I guess that's neat; I wasn't sure if I'd get nominated, let alone take home an award! I'll admit, I laughed when I saw my username in the nominees list and I joyously laughed when I saw my username listed in the winners list! I actually had to look through my posts from last year, since all I remembered doing was download a backup of the ezboard iteration of the MFGG forums. I'm not complaining; I just think it's kinda funny, and things have been going slow in MFGG in recent years (although it's been picking up now with the competitions and such), so I guess there's not really a high bar for Most Positive Contributor. But hey, I'll take it; it feels nice to finally win an MFGG award after so long! Out of curiosity, how many votes did each winner get for that category? Was it just one vote?

Congratulations to all of the other winners! I'll definitely have to try out Wario Destroys a Glass of Milk someday, along with the Luigi installment! The Mario one is quite fun (especially when I showed it to some real life pals), so I'm sure I'll enjoy the sequels as well! Also, I'm sure all the anticipation for Psycutlery has paid off really well! I'm glad to see that badges have been distributed! Will this mean you'll go back and give badges for MFGG Awards 2020? By the way, were the Google Doc lists of nominees saved? I think it'd be nice to have an archive of those for historic preservation (maybe on MFGG Wiki?); I believe I've been nominated in every MFGG Awards event since I joined this place.

Also, about the ezboard backup I mentioned earlier, I've done some work and restored a few topics. That was quite a while ago, though, and I haven't really done anything with it since. At some point it'd be nice to get them uploaded to an MFGG-hosted archive, perhaps in a list of topics.
