RE: Stuff you did in 2017 - Kritter - 12-28-2017 Notable real world stuff: - Released an app that has so far made us over $5000 USD and has had over 600,000 installs (though nowhere near that many active by this point) Notable gaming stuff: - Came up with loads of game ideas that I hope to make one day Notable MFGG stuff: - Made this MYBB skin Really 2017 has been a pretty crappy year as far as my own life is concerned, I haven't had much time for myself. RE: Stuff you did in 2017 - Xander - 12-28-2017 2017 - Paid 12 months worth of a mortgage - Had eavestroughs put on my house - Had an Air Conditioner installed for the house - Bought a new car - Continued development of my fangame, including trying out Twitch for a bit - Bought a new windows laptop for the first time since like 2004 - Went insane with GBA collecting: https://www.instagram.com/p/BY4rgIon1Wh - Completed a bunch of GBA games: The Castlevania Trilogy, The Fire Emblem Trilogy, Advance Wars 2, LoZ: The Minish Cap - Beat Metroid Prime for the first time, finally - Metroid: Samus Returns!!! - Backed several promising games on Kickstarter: Eagle Island, Blasphemous, Flynn: Son of Crimson, The Iron Oath - Actually read 3 fiction books - Celebrated my 5th wedding anniversary with my wife - Visited Denmark - Visited New York City, Washington, Philadelphia - New Necromunda came out! Pretty good year overall! RE: Stuff you did in 2017 - Hyper - 12-30-2017 2017 was a trainwreck but I got some stuffs to share: - paid off my vehicle and become debt free - completed courses of server administration at cPanel University - learning Python - traded off my vehicle for a used cost effective vehicle from a private seller - drove across the American plains - witness the solar eclipse at Wyoming - installed macOS High Sierra on my second HP laptop - moved from Texas to Montana (temporarily) MFGG stuffs: - ??? Failed goals: - getting promoted to tier 3 Jr Linux Admin (laid off as tier 2 Jr Linux Admin) - get a realistic job that pays well (thanks Hurricane Harvey) RE: Stuff you did in 2017 - Mariotroid - 12-31-2017 -Got a job at the produce department of a (at the time local) Wal-Mart. Got my year review a couple days ago. -started Hormone Replacement Therapy to transition. -started dating then became engaged to a beautiful lady -made some slow progress on a game, leading me to read a game design book to understand that better -moved in with my girlfriend/partner - made a #minigame -quit smoking -lost 30 pounds, gained 20 (thanks lack of nicotene) -bought my Nintendo Switch with smart saving -read a budgeting book, 2 books on comic book writing, two spirituality books, a whole lot of comics and graphic novels -played some games and beat a few like Metroid Samus Returns and Call of Duty WW2 - Went for a short visit at a psych ward with my partner when my medication got loopy -took a cooking course at a mental health hospital I'm an outpatient at. -ate chocolate -drank pop -not a whole lot else RE: Stuff you did in 2017 - CuteYoshiGirl - 12-31-2017 -Mom's funeral expenses paid in full, 18,000 dollars, many 16 hour shifts to work -Became a permanent employee at a major hospital where I live, I also receive free healthcare and a pension with a 401K from my job that's it RE: Stuff you did in 2017 - sc00pj0hn - 01-01-2018 Since i really can't remember a lot i've did this year, i can only say my key elements but in a unordered time:

2017 was a better year than I expected. A few regrets but a lot of good stuff came from it. |
