I've Come to Make an Announcement - OssieTheOstrich - 06-30-2024
I have made the decision to take an indefinite hiatus from all of my hobby projects in order to devote my full attention to my professional work. I have come to the realisation that my fan game projects have been causing a detrimental influence on my life, limiting my potential in realms unrelated to my hobbies and likely causing me undue anguish and stress.
It is somewhat surprising that it has taken me this long to realise that I should have stopped my fan gaming projects upon the completion of Mario's slightly Unusual Boss Rush. At the very least, I now understand the sentiment expressed by MisteryGX/Ralorche (the creator for Essence of Waluigi I & II and the Mr. Pence series) when he stated his similar decision to abandon all of his own fan projects.
Then again, I'm questioning whether I will steadfastly adhere to this course of action, or if I will inadvertently revert to creating additional hobby projects when I have more free time available.
Oh and just to be clear, I am NOT cancelling my fan games, I'm just gonna take a indefinite hiatus from them.
..wow, is that a highly formal announcement or what?

I'd love to see your fangames and other hobbyist projects get finished, because they look really neat! But ultimately, I want you to do what's best for you. If you think you're at a point in your life where you need to focus on your professional projects, that's totally understandable. Either way, I hope you'll stick around and share whatever cool things you're doing!
