Map Guide for Mariovania by KoBeWi - R-taFicial - 07-29-2024 Hello everyone! I made a map guide to Mariovania to help explain the where everything is at, along with barriers and where areas lead. I didn't put a walkthrough with this, but instead said what things were accessible at the time of going through the maps. If you're stuck somewhere and need help, I cleared this 100% so feel free to ask! Thanks to KoBeWi for making my favorite fan game so far! (I've played a few but this one is AMAZING!) I remember playing Mariovania and finding it to be a very impressive fangame. If you've never played Mariovania, it's definitely worth a try. And if you're playing this game for the first time, this guide will help you out - it's easy to get lost in Mariovania. RE: Map Guide for Mariovania by KoBeWi - R-taFicial - 07-30-2024 I think the problem that people had with this game is that it felt really slow to start... but it has SO MUCH DEPTH! I was impressed in the amount of gameplay that was available, and the grindy feeling went away after the first couple areas. I'm glad I can help others get through a game that I was so enamored by that I took the time to make an in depth guide for it. I was going to go all out and do a walkthrough, but I didn't want to take the entire experience of playing the game away from others, so I'm just making a tips & tricks video. I'll be putting it up as soon as I can finish it (I'll probably link it this weekend). It will explain a few skips, item drops, and ofc how to get through the red spikes. RE: Map Guide for Mariovania by KoBeWi - R-taFicial - 10-24-2024 I posted my post the first day I was a new member, so I am confused as well as to how it's restricted, but this Forum does get a bit confusing. My thought process for swimming vs dying in 3-1 in water is there's no way out of the water. Swimming levels have pipes that connect you to land, but pits are usually death traps because of the fall/ no way back up. I just assumed this was the problem. They don't account for Mario falling to his death in a pit and just assumes it takes his life once he off screens, so there's comparable context for dying once you fall off the screen in water. The Piranha plant situation is rough. I don't know lore enough to explain. Maybe they can't expand enough in the tunnel to fully envelop Mario, so they can only try while out of the enclosed space? It shows they can expand much bigger than they actually are, and they're shy up close, so they probably have the capability to shrink enough when in close proximity to Mario when he's using the pipe. Sorry I didn't see this sooner, I subscribed to this thread with emails and never got one, but got one today for another post. RE: Map Guide for Mariovania by KoBeWi - WasabiCatto - 10-24-2024 Do not worry about that last post as it was made by a spam bot RE: Map Guide for Mariovania by KoBeWi - Badeltudy - 01-03-2025 Looks like a super matrix! The map is truly complex. But that's what makes it fun—playing while discovering ![]() ![]() ![]() Block Blast puzzle game |
