This was kind of interesting. Someone did a study trying to figure out what the "average" YouTube video is like. (Spoiler alert: The vast majority of YouTube videos are the opposite of viral.)

interesting, also wish we returned to simple YT days, especially 2009-2017 era to me.
plus nowadays we get nothing but stupid ads and like you said (the videos are opposite of viral)

It’s a great reminder that viral videos are the exception—not the rule—and most content quietly reaches smaller, niche audiences. Makes the YouTube ecosystem feel even more diverse and interesting!
