Steam - NowhereMan - 08-29-2025

Why do you like Steam? What have you been playing on Steam? What do you use Steam for?

I have not had a gaming system since Xbox 360. I do play on Steam, though. What games do you use Steam for?

RE: Steam - littlelum - 08-29-2025

The only games I have on steam were some freebies that I got.

I don't have a massive Steam library, but I do use Steam occasionally. My collection is extremely random.

Right now I'm getting back into Final Fantasy VIII, which is available on Steam. I'm on Disc Two.

Terraria is the Steam game I've spent the most time playing, though it's been a while since I played that one.

I do enjoy playing indie games on Steam, and as this is a game making community, I know there are fellow game creators posting original games on Steam. I already noticed Vert and DJ Coco's signature's that lead me to some of their games on the platform. If there is anybody else who has games on the platform feel free to tell me or post your games on here and I will check them out!

You might enjoy Cruise Elroy's Annalynn!

Terraria is another game you might've heard of - it too was made by an MFGGer!

RE: Steam - NowhereMan - 09-16-2025

I did see Annalynn on Steam the other day, I also noticed Syaxamaphone has games on Steam.

Terraria is a game I have never played, but it is literally #8 on the top selling games of all-time... Of all-time. It is in my wishlist. The creator is Re-Logic? Was that an MFGG username, or is his MFGG alias kept secret?

@NowhereMan There he is!

Speaking of Steam... what are everyone's thought on the new steam hardware? While the Steam Machine looks cool, I already have a laptop that can run some games decently well. I'm not really a PC gamer, though, so if I would ever want to seriously build up a steam library and have some cash to spare, it seems like a nice option. Although the price hasn't been announced, I have a feeling that it would be too high for me to justify getting one.

I haven't paid much attention to the VR set, but others seems to be glad for an alternative to Meta's option. In the unlikely chance that I get one, the first thing I'd do with it would be to play Mario Kart Wii in VR.

As for the controller, I don't really have any thoughts, and I don't really have a reason to get one. I hope it's durable, for everyone's sake.
