Stuff you did in 2025 - VinnyVideo - 12-31-2025 I'm contractually obligated to make one of these every year. Real Life Stuff I Did Stayed in my current job and survived more layoffs (ugh again) Worked on really big and really annoying work projects Attempted to learn how to play tennis (the real-life kind, not just the Mario kind) Spent a lot of time with a lovely and complicated young lady Tried to be consistent and intentional about investing MFGG/Creative Stuff I Did Upgraded the MFGG mainsite, forums, and Wiki from PHP 5.6 to 8.2 Worked with @Sean to give the MFGG mainsite a responsive design and greatly-improved performance Checked every page on the MFGG mainsite and fixed any accessibility issues I found Finally bought a domain name Resurrected my old forum Contributed to JaxBoards - the software my forum runs on - getting it working in PHP 8.3, fixing some accessibility defects, and making other improvements Made a College Football Bowl Game Generator Uploaded a grand total of one YouTube video (applying a Chrono Trigger soundfont to a Bonnie Tyler song!) Updated a bunch of my old GameFAQs guides Stuff I Didn't Do Didn't do drugs Didn't catch tuberculosis Didn't poach any endangered species Didn't meet any new fashion models/beauty contest winners like I used to 2025 was kind of tough... I hope 2026 will go back to the usual Hard Mode instead of Lunatic+ difficulty. RE: Stuff you did in 2025 - luckygames - 12-31-2025 For me, 2025 went by very quickly. Goodbye 2025! RE: Stuff you did in 2025 - DJ Coco - 12-31-2025 Vacationed in the Netherlands with my bros. Saw Babymetal live. Functionally finished Cliax Codec programming and design-wise. Only thing left to do is now polish/testing and implementing any missing assets. Started work on an escape-room style game played in a virtual OS (set in the same universe as Cliax Codec). Got a Switch 2 and played Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, Sonic Racing CrossWorlds and Metroid Prime 4. Overall, a good year. I got done what I wanted to get done, even if I didn't release anything. Hoping 2026 will change that! Last year I've: - Joined this cool Forum - Finished an old project of mine  - Expanded my business - Got back to forums and hosting in general!! I'd say 2025 was a great upgrade from 2024, but my hope for 2026 is for this momentum to only get better! RE: Stuff you did in 2025 - A weird slug thing - 01-02-2026 I don't want to be a negative nancy and say "this 2025 year sucked" or other bad things no one wants to hear (or see). So I'll just stick to positives. Real life stuff: (not gonna reveal too much because i like me privacy) Binged watched a ton of great cartoons with my brother, rewatches of old ones we watched decades ago (such as Danny Phantom), and ones we haven't seen before (such as The Mighty Ones, Kim Possible, and Jellystone). My favourite show I watched this year was definitely Asterix & Obelix: The Big Fight.  Creative stuff: Made my first CGI character model for a series that probably was too unrealistically ambitious looking back on it. Some sketches and art, usually for character design practicing. And also started writing several things. Including a script for a potential future YouTube video where I do a retrospective on an obscure medias (no it is not one of those sloppy lore analysis vidyas that don't do justice...) But I will be cutting down my creative hobbyist works in order to make room for more professional or purposeful endeavours. Like the rest of you, I hope this year is much better than the last one for not only me but for the rest of you and the whole world. Take care! RE: Stuff you did in 2025 - Hyper - 01-09-2026 Mostly life stuff, I haven't done much involvements here: - Paid off all of my car loans - Stayed 4.5+ years at my current job - After I rebuilt my 1993 Nissan D21 engine (2.4L KA24E) by myself in mid-2024, it runs pretty bad. But I figured out why (bad lifters) and got it to run like new again at 275k miles. 10k miles later and it still runs like new. I even drove it from Texas to Utah and back without any issues. - Successfully tracked and chased 3 tornadoes for my storm chasing hobby, strongest was rated EF2 - Lost 25 lbs of weight (mostly from Oct to Dec 2025 of 20 lbs) - Went to several conventions - Scraped Turd Feast Remastered RE: Stuff you did in 2025 - matrix - 01-09-2026 Here's some stuffs I did in 2025: Released my Mario fangame. Finished the story part of several games: Ghost of Tshushima Marvel's Spider Man(2018) Super Mario Odyssey Super Mario 64 (I started playing GTA 5 at the end of 2025, but I completed today so I wouldn't count that) Made a few artworks Launched my bluesky account This time, I posted soo many youtube videos compared to the other years. I can say that 2025 wasn't that good than 2024, I hope 2026 gets better... RE: Stuff you did in 2025 - DogToon64 - 01-10-2026 Here are some things I did last year: Went to Disney World with my mom Participated in a bowlin' event Made a lot of art Started usin' Krita Participated in a few different art collabs Got a Switch 2, a few Switch and Switch 2 games, some LEGOs, and lotsa candy for Christmas Played a LOT of Kirby Finished watchin' Kirby: Right Back at Ya! Got into Regular Show Started a Tumblr thingy Retired from my role as staff over on The Spriters Resource Tried to relearn how to program in languages like HTML Learned how to publish webpages on GitHub Learned how to make props in Garry's Mod Slowly started to come back to Mario Fan Games Galaxy While 2025 is probably one of the worst years I've ever been experienced (partly due to some real-life stuff that happened that I'd rather not disclose, and some mental issues I had durin' a lot of 2025), there were some good things that happened as well. I've also been (for the most part) a lot happier ever since I retired from staff on The Spriters Resource back in late-September. Heck, I've been the happiest I've been in SO long. So overall, I've been a pretty happy guy lately. Hope 2026 goes well!! ^v^
