Time to serve up some home Mario cooking. This minigame competition will be for cooking in the Mario World!
You can make whatever you like, as long as it's about cooking in the Mario-verse.
So crack open those Yoshi eggs, and fry some shrooms!

What if I just switch it to any video game universe?

Then I'm in!

The Mario theme feels more appropriate for MFGG. We don't have enough Mario games being developed on this platform, and the point of minigame comps always seemed to be to encourage more game development. Encouraging Mario games is beneficial to the site.

I'll encourage Mario themes, however, if you have your heart set on a different angle for a cooking minigame then I'll allow it.

You do realize you just opened the flood gates for a bunch of Steamed Hams games, right

I'll have to see if I can set aside some time and make something for this. Haven't made a smaller game in a long while.

In timeline A where its mario only, two people finish 2 Mario games.

In timeline B where you can do w/e you want, those two people STILL make two Mario games probably but you also get a syxgame starring a CUTE GIRL

Should be a no brainer

I have an idea... time to execute it!! Smile

You’re right... it’s so obvious!

This should be a fun thing. Minigame Competition themes usually work best when they allow a moderate degree of flexibility.

Movement's all done. Pretty happy with how this is shaping up so far!

I'm liking the NES Popeye vibe. Will you be able to turn that filter off though?

Whoa, my game doesn' come close to as complex and official-like. Good job.

Yep. By default it will be on, but if too many people have issues with it playing nice with their PC (as in, if their graphics card can't handle it), then I'll likely patch it to have it off by default.

Working on a little game where you collect fresh ingredients through platforming and defeating enemies to satisfy customers at a pizzeria. Progress a bit slow though since it's been a while since I've used a Clickteam product, lol.

Super mario special edition

It doesn't fit the theme, so it can't enter.
