A Super NES appears in Stephanie's Wild Ride during Season 8, but I don't think they were playing a real game.

(I just found this from Googling - because of my incomplete knowledge of the series, maybe there's another episode where they do something more Mario-y.)

Any rational can tell you that the core Mario game series is severely over rated, but "Mario" abstractly has no quality--good or bad.

My theory is that Mario pays Bowser to kidnap Peach so he can save her and reap the benefits. In short, no, Mario is not good.
