What is up with edge? - littlelum - 02-10-2018 Recently, Microsoft edge has been real weird. I can't download anything, and when I go to youtube, I can't change sites, and the only way to fix the latter problem is to run C Cleaner. Is anyone else having similar problems? RE: What is up with edge? - Hyper - 02-10-2018 This may make me sound like a techical support representative but have you tried to clear its cache and cookies? RE: What is up with edge? - VinnyVideo - 02-10-2018 I'd recommend doing what @Hypernova recommended. Do other browsers give you this same problem? RE: What is up with edge? - littlelum - 02-10-2018 Yes, I tried that. It worked, but I went back to youtube and it did it again. Also, Firefox had absolutely no problems. RE: What is up with edge? - Hyper - 02-10-2018 It could be system related issues and/or a recently installed software is interfering with Edge's functionality. Try these instead: - uninstall/reinstall recently updated/installed software - use system restore to restore to the last point where Edge is working well - open Windows PowerShell (Admin) and run “SFC /scannowâ€. RE: What is up with edge? - The Shadow - 02-10-2018 Where is it redirecting you to? RE: What is up with edge? - OssieTheOstrich - 02-11-2018 Wait, what are we talking about? RE: What is up with edge? - DustinVG - 02-12-2018 Your first mistake is using Microsoft's browser. RE: What is up with edge? - littlelum - 02-16-2018 Wait, it magically stopped being buggy (at least the youtube part) RE: What is up with edge? - Shadow Administrator Drei - 02-17-2018 I highly recommend contacting Microsoft support if registry cleaning and reinstalling of the program don't fix it. Is there a particular reason you're using edge over Firefox or a Chromium-based browser? |
