Super mario special edtion - nowereginald2 - 02-19-2018 Well... i open back an other topic, to defend myself. (by the way, i can't access to my account...when you ask to receive your lost password by mail, you never receive the mail.so, i was completly stuck outside. i have to create an other account.) I insist. first point : Alll the ressources i am using are on the web and distributed freely. There is a ton of remix and sounds fx freely distributed everywhere how can i imagine that sound fx was belonged to a specific guy somewhere...for me, theses sounds and remix was from nintendo and some dudes make remixes for free. Second point: to show you the weak point in your "morality". Are you sure the guy who made the remix is clearly giving credit to the orignial compositor of the song ? Is him asking the orignal author of the song to be able to make a remixe and use it ? I am pretty sure the answer is no... The more crazy, it's, if you use an original song or sprites form nintendo, it's ok...but, apparently, i you are using an edited sprites or a remixe ! it's evil ! The remixer and the sprites ripper don't give any credits to the original author, and cry when you are not giving credits... i want to finish with this :"The evil is always in the eyes of beholder". now you can close this topic, you have my answer. Cordialy, RE: Super mario special edtion - OssieTheOstrich - 02-19-2018 YOU STOLE SOUNDS AND SPRITES FROM OTHER PEOPLE AND DIDN'T GIVE THEM CREDIT, AND YOU WERE APPARENTLY HAVING ADS, WHICH MEANS YOU WERE PROFITING ON SOMETHING YOU DON'T OWN!!!! RE: Super mario special edtion - Yrr - 02-19-2018 lmfao trying to justify stealing instead of just apologising RE: Super mario special edtion - Snessy the duck - 02-19-2018 Quote:The remixer and the sprites ripper don't give any credits to the original author, and cry when you are not giving credits...afaik almost everyone who remixes and rips sprites give credit to the original authors, so I really don't see where you're coming from here, and the whole "crying" thing is also a bit overexaggerated imo. Also, I highly suggest you read the responses from the original topic. It answers a lot of your points, and I'm not gonna repeat something that's already been said. RE: Super mario special edtion - Minerador Slime - 02-19-2018 The fact that people are just screaming at him instead of actually providing the soluction to this is sad. Ok, so heres some tips for nowereginald2: 1. Do not decompile other people's work. It's wrong, and may also be illegal in some cases; 2. Follow the fair use doctrine; 3. Give credit for other people's work; 4. Ask for permission to the people who made the assets; 5. Super Mario is a Nintendo trademark, that means it's protected by the copyright law. RE: Super mario special edtion - YoshisIsland3 - 02-19-2018 Also, you don't need to quit development, just give credit, other sites like YouTube have some music remixers and creators that requires to be credited, but it seems like you are developing a morality that credit is not a thing, despite profiting off a game that literally is called Super Mario Run, with a special subtitle. You aren't a really bad person, You have the power to make a change, so I'll leave your decision up to you. RE: Super mario special edtion - VinnyVideo - 02-19-2018 @YoshisIsland3 offers good advice. With that said, I think I'll let this topic rest in peace. |
