but for reals here, the ugandan knuckles meme is only deemed as racist because some a** holes on the internet used it with racist intentions, and now some pretentious social engineers have to go and try to keep everybody from using it, no matter what other, non-racist context the meme is being used in.

Let me be really quite frank with you: The Ugandan Knuckles profile and thread on MFGG are absolutely in racist context.
If someone just posted the original Knuckles drawing before it spawned the horrible racist meme, that's different. However, that is not what happened here.

i can see how people could find racial undertones from making fun of an accent, but i don't think that it's enough to take issue with people using the meme unless the individual or a group of people start using it to purposefully on their part to exclude, harass, or harm people of other ethnicities.
sometimes, making fun of an accent is just making fun of an accent.

I like to think the punch-out men all put on these elaborate caricatures for the fans, just like everyone's favorite wrestleman show.
Outside of the ring I am sure they are all regular down-to-earth dudes

a. its alwyas been used by people who are not the greatest
b. the accent isnt true to life
c. what they say with the accent has a lot to do with racial things against africans

Guys, I think you're missing the point of the thread: if we don't allow racist caricatures and the memes that spawned them on MFGG, then nobody will be able to roleplay characters from an old Nintendo game.
