This is just a quick question. Do all of you dudes and dudettes go here for the fact that it's "a Mario fangame forum" or because it's "a forum with a great community"??

Hhnestly I go on this forum cause it' filled with interesting people who are productive and nice to talk to. I never really come on here for the fact that it' Mario (ok maybe a biiiit for the fact that it's Mario).

Anyhow what' your reasoning?

I don't think I would have come here had this place had a different name, like F-Zero Fan Games Galaxy or something.


I joined because it said "Mario" in the name. And I was also interested in making some sprites and showing them.


Also the people here are really nice.

Well, for both reasons, actually. For one, I'm a fan of the fat Italian plumber. And two, there's a whole community of people to (1) talk to and joke around with, and (2) critique my work.

I've been here for a long time. Part of my interest is in the Super Mario series, another part is fangame development and a major part is the community itself.

I used to come here for the community until ~2010 when it decided community wasnt the focus of the site and we all f***ed off to MW
