Require Posts for Warnings to be Linked - Shadow Administrator Drei - 03-01-2018

I'm pretty sure I was just warned for an admin incompetently ignoring timestamps, so I think it should be standard protocol, as it was before, that the related post be linked. If this isn't automatic, then just have a prefilled post to fill in with the relevant BBCode.

While complaining that your warning isn't deserved because you stopped the behavior you received a verbal warning for, you decide now is the opportune time to flame other MFGG staff? Sorry, I'm a bit confused by this choice.

It'd be no problem to include links to posts you're warned for, so I don't see why we wouldn't do that from now on.

As far as I remember, IPB or the old phPBB or whatever acronym boards used to automatically provide a link to the warned post when you clicked on the Warn button, I do not know why that appears to not be the case anymore

But yes, I agree, it's a good idea to include links to the post the user is being warned for

I am not flaming staff. I'm making note that there is the possibility for error, as was done. Your hostility is not needed, and honestly creates a way worse environment than any presumed negativity I was bringing.

I also think this is something we should look into bringing back too, yeah. Dunno why it was even missing in the first place. I wouldn't say it should be REQUIRED, but it should definitely appear by default.
