Experiences with HTML/CSS - sc00pj0hn - 03-18-2018 This month i'm pretty excited to find that HTML and CSS became my second favourite programming language i've just began after Game Maker Language. Has anyone tried this language for their HTML experiences? I'm planning a site on HTML while trying to use CSS without a framework. RE: Experiences with HTML/CSS - Hyper - 03-18-2018 HTML/CSS is a good start for web development. I do enjoy learning JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL which can help me do more things with web design to an extent. I've been using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to port some of the MFGG themes over. RE: Experiences with HTML/CSS - VinnyVideo - 03-18-2018 Let's see... I guess the first time I ever did anything with HTML was editing the output of MFGG Wrestling files back in 2010. Fun times. Then in early 2011, I started experimenting with forum theme design here. I had no idea what I was doing, but I managed to make stuff anyway. Fortunately, HTML/CSS isn't rocket science, so it's pretty easy to get started. I've learned more HTML/CSS from doing things on MFGG - fixing bugs, adding new features, making a skin for the phpBB forums, and working with the new skins. I've never actually had any formal education in HTML/CSS, but I've tutored a bunch of students taking an HTML/CSS class. Lately I've been trying to expand my knowledge of JavaScript and PHP. Someday I'll probably make a Web site for my Career Fantasy project. |
