It would be nice to add a "Who's Online list" on the main site.

It is a decent idea however the main site software is very fragile to handle. Any modifications (except themes) may break the site functionality. However I heard that we might be getting a better main site software later on.

I'd put this in the "nice to have but not essential" list. As Hypernova said, we're unlikely to add new features to the current software, but we're working on revamping the mainsite software, and lumaSMS will offer lots of new features.
(In the current mainsite's Admin Control Panel, we're supposed to be able to see all the QC staffers who are online at any given time, but this feature doesn't seem to work properly.)

When the site is revamped, the mainsite and forums will run on the same software, so the "online" list will be shared.
