Cartoon Network Thread - Jaden1291 the Toad - 04-07-2018

You all know what Cartoon Network is. Discuss it in this thread.
It can be hard for US users though, because I heard Teen Titans Go reruns are abundant in their country. While the others like United Kingdom and CN Asia, they have a lot of variety in their shows. You could use the CN app (or do piracy, which I honestly don't want on this place and everywhere though.)

You can debate about TV show lore, Gumball comedy, or why TTG is all over the place.

RE: Cartoon Network Thread - Great Destination Tracks 3 - 04-07-2018

Here are the good shows (note this is my opinion),

They are

Uncle grandpa

Gumball

Adventure time

Clerance

Mixels

OK KO

Powerpuff girls (the old one)

Camp lazlo

and

We bare bears,

My favorite is "Mixels"

I don't remember El. Tigre airing on Cartoon Network, unless it was moved, and it mostly aired on Nick.
Mine was also Courage the Cowardly Dog, Dexter's Lab, PPG, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Kids Next Door, Samurai Jack, Fosters home for imaginary friends, Flapjack, Johnny Bravo and Cow and Chicken - which are both sadly absent from the rest of my favorite era, 2000s, Ben 10 ( Original, Alien Force series, Omniverse - not good but nice).

EDIT: I also enjoyed Adventure Time, Regular Show, which is awesome, and Steven Universe.
I also saw a bit of potential in Uncle Grandpa, but lost all hope when they changed his character to act more childish, couldn't really stand it that much or why they did it, the running gag with Pizza Steve got old too.

Oh, maybe it was on Nick. I watched both when I was younger so I probably mixed that up.

RE: Cartoon Network Thread - Mariotroid - 04-07-2018

What's wrong with teen titans? I kinda liked that show. It wasn't bad or anything.

RE: Cartoon Network Thread - Evil Yoshi Toes - 04-07-2018

@Mariotroid Teen Titans was a good show, but Teen Titans Go is a horrible reboot of the show. It's quite annoying and very ugly.

I watch that show sometimes, and I find its humor horrible. IN FACT - the episode "Caged Tiger" has the Titans beat up Dr. Light (it's extremely violent), and that extreme cartoon violence is been shown to kids on screen? HOLY QUESTION BLOCK-IANS, NOT COOL! Plus, the humor also uses bad moral lessons like "don't read books" (Books), or "don't wash your hands" (Hand Zombie). In general, I dislike that show a lot, also it's being aired too much in the USA Cartoon Network, possibly due to the fact the channel is shifting its focus to the CN app. I wish the movie was the series finale, and I also wish OK K.O, Gumball, WBB, UniKitty, Craig, and A&O take over the schedule afterwards. (Remember: Adventure time is about to have its series finale, so I'm not including it there)

I live in the Philippines, and Cartoon Network is different there - they don't air Teen Titans Go a lot and they also air some old shows like Courage the Cowardly Dog (read: my childhood since Grade 3) and Chowder (my longtime childhood), and even rerun Billy and Mandy for Halloween. However, new shows come late in that case. UniKitty is coming to CN Philippines in April 28 as opposed to its launch in the US on New Year, and I think Apple and Onion may have a delayed debut in June or July 2018.

RE: Cartoon Network Thread - Pedigree - 04-12-2018

Pretty much only watch it for Adult Swim and Toonami.

The fact Teen Titans Go gets most time slots doesn't help me wanna watch the channel.

RE: Cartoon Network Thread - Evil Yoshi Toes - 04-12-2018

@Jaden1291 the Toad I don't watch tv shows a lot anymore, save for a few shows on netflix and game of thrones, but if cartoon network still consistently aired good shows, like Courage and the old Power Puff Girls and Scooby Doo, I'd definitely turn it on from time to time. Courage was on netflix a little while ago but I think it has since left, which is a shame. I did get the chance to introduce the show to my younger sister and watch most of them with her before it left though. Fortunately these shows can be found in completion online if you're OK with poor quality and with being a criminal.

RE: Cartoon Network Thread - Great Destination Tracks 3 - 04-13-2018

Am i the only one that likes Uncle grandpa XD

RE: Cartoon Network Thread - Evil Yoshi Toes - 04-13-2018

I hope so

RE: Cartoon Network Thread - Great Destination Tracks 3 - 04-14-2018

If i made a top 5 list it would be this,

5 Gumball

4 Clearance

3 Uncle Grandpa

2 Powerpuff girls (the old one)

1 Mixels

RE: Cartoon Network Thread - Saltman - 04-14-2018

I remember having watched Uncle grandpa as a kid once or twice. I didn't understand a thing of what was going on (especially that giant flying tiger thing). But it didn't have any crude humor or swearing or anything, which is good.

That said, I don't watch CN.

RE: Cartoon Network Thread - Yoshi2000 - 04-15-2018

Jesus Christ, they air NOTHING but Teen Titans GO!. Heck, they even have a "Teen Titans GO Marathon" if you thought that they didn't air it enough times. I mean what about the actual good shows currently on CN? Like Steven Universe. It's 10000 times better than Titans Go!

RE: Cartoon Network Thread - Snessy the duck - 04-15-2018

Cartoon Network? More like Teen Titans GO Network amirite??
