Make the link to the Forum more prominent - Evil Yoshi Toes - 05-11-2018
Apparently some people had no idea the forums existed. Even someone who has been on the main site for a long time was unaware of them. It also took me longer than it should have to find the forums when I first discovered the main site.
I'm not sure if this is a common issue but seeing as a large chunk of members probably discover the main site first then come over to the forums, I think it should be easier to notice the link on the main site to the forums.

Yeah. Especially after looking at the link Evil Yoshi Toes provided, I agree with this. Also since the link to the mainsite is quite visible here on the forums, but not vice versa.

Yeah, this might be a good idea. Even if it's not feasible to remodel the mainsite's visual interface until lumaSMS comes out, we could do better at promoting forum events in mainsite updates.

Maybe we should change it to actually say "forum" instead of "message board", which might be considered a more outdated term.

It has been renamed "Forums" and been bolded, along with both the Discord and Wiki links.

Honestly it'd be better imo if it was something like "chat with us on the community forums," "live chat with us on discord," and "read about what our forums were like 10 years ago." maybe some cool banners for each of em too. I think being more clear about what they are would be pretty helpful.

I hear the site is hard to modify but if I got some FTP access or whatever access I need I'd be happy to have a look at it.

@Kritter If you'd like to check it out, give me a buzz. I set up a sandbox for possible TCSMS tweaks.
(Good luck splicing major new features into TCSMS, though - this system was not exactly designed for adding new sections.)
