Add a Resolved Suggestions Subforum - VinnyVideo - 05-20-2018

I'm not usually a big fan of subforums, but this might be useful for archiving completed/resolved suggestions. What do y'all think?

@Pedigree This topic is especially relevant to you, since you've been on a Suggestions-organizing spree lately (which I appreciate).

One for Resolved and the other for Rejected would work especially well.

That way we can refer to the rejected ones as needed.

Thanks for making this by the way, I was just thinking about this!

I'm cool with that.

That sounds n-n-neat!

Wouldn't it be easier to lock a resolved suggestion and add "[RESOLVED]" to the title of it? It seems a bit much to me to move it to an entirely new forum/subforum.

RE: Add a Resolved Suggestions Subforum - Pedigree - 05-21-2018

It is not easier and generates a lot of alerts in the inboxes of those involved.

Moving a thread is one checkbox and clicking okay.

Putting the Resolved tag on a topic means we gotta edit the original post, go back out to the thread listing in the forum, then click a checkbox and click okay. It's not that much harder but it isn't at all easier and generates multiple alerts for the person who made the thread as I stated above.

I added a subforum for resolved suggestions but I need permission as a Tech Admin to move posts... I think.

@VinnyVideo ?

RE: Add a Resolved Suggestions Subforum - VinnyVideo - 05-21-2018

@Kritter See if this is better. Tech Admins should now be able to move posts (and do other things) in Suggestions and Resolved Suggestions.
